Dream job

I enjoyed this interview with Sylvaine Delacorte, the fragrance director of Guerlain.

I couldn't agree more with the writer, her job sounds dreamy indeed. Saying that I don't particularly like the bestsellers she has produced that the article refers to, L'Instant, Insolence and so on. Still I think it's interesting to read about how she got to the position she did. Plus I always like to read about Guerlain and see bee bottle pictures in the mainstream press!

  1. I love these bottles- sometimes I almost don't care what it smells like- I just want to display the lovely bottles on my dresser!

  3. Yes the Guerlain bee bottles are amazing aren't they and I totally know what you mean.

Yes I think Stella McCartney smells very good quality and the mix of amber and rose is a mix of innocent and not so... Did you smell it on other people in London? I find I get sillage from it quite a bit out and about.

  5. Hi Jenavira- yes do. The Daily Mail is not normally a very good paper but I enjoyed this.

I was looking for a picture of the special editions bottles of L'Instant, Shalimar and Insolence in the L'heure Bleu/ Mitsouoko bottle when I found it. I still haven't found a picture on the internet- they sound do nice!

it shouldn't be so but a beautiful bottle does really help with the scents doesn't it!
