Tagged

I have been tagged by Scent of Abricots and The Daily Connoisseur two of my favourite blogs.

When tagged, one must:

1. Link to the person who tagged you (above)

2. Post the rules on your blog (here)

3. Write six random things about yourself

a) I have a borderline phobia of tinned tuna and particularly tuna mayonnaise. A tuna mayonnaise and sweetcorn melt is my room 101 food.

b) I worked at Buckingham Palace after graduating.

c) I am not actually from London, I am from Surrey, although I live in London now. I have that love for London that many people who weren't born here have, a more intense, wide eyed love born out of coming as a child and just being drunk with wonder instantly. The wonder still hasn't diminished even though there are clearly lots of things that aren't perfect. Of course I love Surrey too and do not hold that you are either town or country.

d) I have shoes ranging from size 37 to 40

e) My first perfume was L'air du Temps by Nina Ricci

f) I have never seen Beaches all the way through

4. Tag six people at the end of your post and link to them

I am not going to tag anyone as I think most of the blogs I regularly contribute to have been tagged

6. Let the tagger know when your entry is up.

Will do!

  1. You had a much more sophisticated first fragrance than I did :-). I can't stand mayonnaisse (I can stand tuna, but mix it with mayonaisse and I go running in the other direction).

  2. Great posting Rose! I, like you two, detest mayonnaise... had a very bad experience with it from a sandwich i ate flying Ryan Air from London to Spain last year...

I thought your shoe size comment was hilarious and very random indeed...

  3. Hi Jena- Well it was my Mum's perfume! she gave me a little bottle although I think I was only allowed to wear one spray and only occasionally. I suspect this was to stop me playing with her big bottle!

I can eat a tuna steak although it still wouldn't be my first choice but I really can't even take a bite of tuna mayo- arrghh

  4. Hi Daily!
I'm glad you liked it. I don't mind mayonnaise it's tuna mayo specific, although thinking about it I would only have it with certain things. Plane food is never good thought is it.

Yes I think it's random too! I think it's the old thing about different manufacturers being meaner/ more generous with leather but really that is quite a big range of sizes. My feet are narrow but longish so I think that might be why. Really I would say most of my shoes are a European 39- but I do have all the other sizes!
