Off on holidays

Thank you for the book recommendations! I am here for another 24 hours so anymore would be welcome!

I am very early tomorrow morning and I don't think I am going to have any internet access so I will be back in about a week and a half.

I will be looking forward to reading all of your posts from while I'm away then.

I am taking Un Jardin Sur le Nil with me (I'm off to Egypt ya see). I am not taking anything else because that means I can justify making a duty free fragrance purchase! (really I am as excited about duty free as I am about Egypt...)

  1. Oh, how wonderful; your vacation is already fun, and you haven't left yet! Perfume and books to get... :)

    Have a great time.

  2. Have a great time!

I do that too! I'm off to LA next week, and I'm only bringing one perfume (to be decided) so I can go to the duty-free at Heathrow.

I'm not bringing books though, I'll be too busy when I'm there, and reading on the plane makes my head ache.I'm loading some good music on to my NotPod, instead.

  5. Hi Tania
Have a great trip to LA- that should be wonderful.

I can't read in cars for some reason so I know what you mean.

Pods are very necessary for planes and sun bathing!

  6. Hi Jena- me too! I have some great memories of trips to Barcelona and Vienna and I think it's partly because I only had one fragrance throughout and I just have to spritz to reminisce.

In fact I quite like to buy the scent for the trip on the way out but Sur le Nil seems right for Egypt.

Thank you- I will very hard!

  11. I love Egypt especially Alexandria, I lived in Istanbul and find Alexandria very similar in terms of the people, architecture and history.

Hope that you will let us know how the cruise on the nile went.

  12. Hi Fabulously French, How wonderful to have lived in Istanbul. I have never been and am quite obsessed with going at the moment!

My Egypt holiday was more beach based so I didn't get to see very much of the country unfortunately. I definitely want to go back and see everything properly. Although I was bitten about a hundred times by mosquito's so I will have to be very careful!
