... the return of Bridget Jones?
I know it's not terribly hip and cool but I have a serious soft spot for the first film- it's yet another of the films I always watch over Christmas.
I was always madly jealous that Bridget's flat was directly over Borough market Borough market and harboured a secret theory that perhaps I would one day get to live there.
** EDIT** You can read about the third film here**
No it is not wrong, it is my favourite christmas movie!

I have added you to my blog roll. I do love visiting here!!
ReplyDeleteI always love to watch Love, Actually at Christmas. And I am quite certain that's not hip either.
Is there a number 3 coming?? I do hope so, xv.
ReplyDeleteIs she returning? I didn't know that. I am excited, too. Yay yay yay! But please don't ask me if that's hip, I eat Nutella with a big spoon and cry over Heidi.
ReplyDeleteLuv her!!!!!!!
ReplyDeleteYeah Bridget, bring her on!

Leann- it's a really good one isn't. I'm sure it came out in the middle of summer here but I think with it beginning and ending at NY it has become a Christmas film in my mind.
ReplyDeletePamela- thank you, I will add you to mine as well. I am very fond of Love Actually too, although it is most definitely not hip! I actually don't like all the stories but some of them are wonderful.
Vicki and MM- yes there is going to be a third film, I didn't advertise the link very well but have added it now. Nutella from the jar is definitely cool!
LMF- yes I do too, I think Renee Zellweger did a great job in the first film, I didn't like the second one as much but I'm hoping they'll be back on form for the third.
Hi Rose- I am so excited to hear about this film- I didn't know they were doing another one! Thanks for the heads up! xo
ReplyDeleteEven though the second film wasn't as good as the first, I'll always take more Bridget!! I hope they can bring Sharon Maguire back to direct this one!!!
ReplyDeleteLisa
Daily- I didn't know either, but I did read the colums it's going to be based on and they were pretty good.
ReplyDeleteLisa- no the second film was very dissapointing. I hope the third will go back to the first film's format and Sharon Maguire too!
I'm also a little obsessed by the fact that Bridget's flat was in Borough Market. (Evidenced by the plethora of touristy pics I took when I first arrived in London!) xx
ReplyDeleteTop Bird- it's pretty easy to fall in love with Borough isn't it. Sigh. As if she would have that flat!
