The books I'm lusting after

French Home

A Certain Slant of Light

Metrostop: Paris

Perfume: The Alchemy of Scent

Just when I get some way towards taming the wish list beast I find another four books to add. I am especially salivating about the Jean Claude Elena book which I read about courtesy of Now Smell This.

  3. I love books & magazines especially anything to do with french interiors.

I notice from your other blog that you are househunting in London, a friend of ours who is an artist is selling her flat - do you want to email me (leeannhawke@gmail.com) so that I can email you the details.

  4. Hi Fabulously French, I do too, I have to stop myself buying home magazines and books so that I can attempt to afford an actual home!

The other blog is sadly rather neglected at the moment!

Yes I will e-mail you- I don't know if your friend's place will be in budget but if she's an artist I'm sure it's beautiful. Thanks! Rx

  5. Hi Scentscelf- do you how great! how did you find it? It's such a creative idea for a story. I would love to borrow it but the postage might cost more than if I just buy it here. Do let me know what you think of it though! then I can order it.

A dark history of Paris sounds very intriguing, I love London and Paris books. I will look it up.

The Ellena book looks so exciting doesn't it! I'm not sure I can wait until the summer though!

  8. Yesterday was tax day here....painful! Maybe a gorgeous book and a new bottle of perfume is what I need to cheer myself up. :-)

  9. Hi Trish, yes a book and a bottle of perfume should do the trick! possibly also a cocktail!
I haven't bought a full bottle of perfume for quite a while- I am feeling the urge to splurge come on, sometimes a decant just won't do.
